c/o 2024 Homecoming Activities

10/28/2021

Attention sophomores: it's not too late to join in on our class homecoming activities! We are looking for more students to help us represent our class in our co-ed dance, class skit, and class banners and posters. Please see Ms.V in C101 or Mr. Ahuna in I105 for more information.

Book Sale at Waianae Public Library

10/28/2021

The Book Nook in the lobby at the Wai`anae Public Library has hundreds of gently used books we would love to see in the hands of our local students.  During the COVID shutdown, the librarians culled their young adult and juvenile collections.  We are trying to find homes for these treasures.  During November all children's and young adult books are 10 cents each.

However,  if your teachers want to come in and gather books for their classrooms or individual students, there will be NO CHARGE.  The teachers can contact me by phone, text, or email for more information or to give me their name which I will forward  to the librarians so those books will be free.

There are geography, science and Native American, remarkable people, careers picture and poetry books; as well as upper elementary  and young adult fiction.

10/5/2021

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Hawaii State Department of Education is aware of the planned Tik Tok challenges that are circulating online, and we are asking families to help us shut these down quickly. The latest trend on the social media platform encourages students to participate in monthly “challenges” involving vandalism, violence and other inappropriate behavior while at school. Thank you for your attention to the important matter and for your cooperative efforts that help ensure that our Hawaii public schools are safe for all students and staff.
