Every 1st Friday we play music by the front office. Please join us at 7:40am on Friday Dec. 7th to dance the Cha-cha slide. We also want to recognize our Fall Sports athletes, so if you played a Fall sport, come out to be recognized.
The Caring Communities Curriculum for Youth Suicide Prevention is a suicide prevention and wellness program. This community program is youth-led that focuses on real life situations that youth face and about the Sources of Strength that are often helpful in these situations. Youth in the program will build leadership skills within their communities that help them develop prevention activities, create/share messages of hope and hold school/community campaigns. This program is open to both students and adults. We meet every second and last Thursday of every month after school from 2:00p-3:30p in B-104. *Second meeting happening on Nov. 29th – 2:00p-3:30p in B-104. Just a friendly reminder that Source of Strength Support group will be having our second youth group meeting this Thursday, November 29th from 2:30p-3:30p in B-104. Please feel free to join us with your fellow students. Please also help to spread the word and invite any students that is needing a support group to help them through any issues their facing.
METS students are invited to participate in campus tours of UH Mānoa School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology and Hawaiʻi Pacific University on Wednesday, November 28.
Free buffet lunch will be provided at a UHM student cafeteria. If you're not in METS yet, come to the CCC for an application. All grades welcome, but space is limited The National Student Exchange will be giving a presentation on December 13 in the CCC. Seniors - if you are of Native Hawaiian ancestry, a scholarship workshop will be held in the CCC on December 14th. Learn about the process of applying to scholarships. Sign-up in the CCC.
