Breast Cancer Walk

Need community service hours? We are looking for students to volunteer at the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, Oct. 22. The activity will run from 4:30 am-12:00 pm at Keehi Lagoon & Lagoon Drive. We will be providing a bus to & from the event for all volunteers. If you're interested, sign-up at Shop 2 during lunch or after school.

Blood Drive

The HOSA club will be holding a blood drive November 10th. We will be holding an information table by the Lokahi wall on Wednesday (10/26 & 11/2) to give out more information and provide a sign up sheet. For more information, visit our instagram page, @waianae_hosa to be up to date!

JROTC Carwash Fundraiser

The JROTC Program will be holding a car wash fundraiser this Saturday at Maluhia Church, in order to raise money for their raider team to compete off island. Please come by to show your support

Homecoming Spirit Week

Hey Seariders! It's Homecoming Week! Join us for pep rallies at the AB Courtyard during lunch on Monday & Friday, watch the co-ed dance on Wednesday and the skit on Friday. Dress-up all week, but remember that all outfits must be school appropriate and follow school dress code. Thanks!

Waianae Strong First Friday

This Friday is our next Waianae Strong First Friday. As usual we will have  
music playing starting at 7:15. Come and join us at 7:45 to dance the  
Cha-Cha Slide. The dance will be lead by the Class council, Winter Sport  
Teams and School Clubs. Show your school spirit and pride by wearing your  
Waianae Swag . No swag? no problem. Wear red and blue.

Noda Gauken Japanese Visit

We're looking for 40 students to serve as hosts for the upcoming Japanese  
school visit on Nov. 15. Come to the Student Activities Office at Shop 2 to  
sign up & get a permission form during lunch or after school. We will be  
accepting the first 40 students that turns in their permission forms

Lei Lanikuhonua

Kaleo O Wai'anae is the official online home of Wai'anae High School.  It is designed and managed by our nationally recognized, integrated, multi-media journalism program Searider News, a major elective in the Searider Productions program.  We produce daily, bi-monthly, monthly, periodical and yearly publications as a service to our school and community.
