WHS Attendance Notice for SY25/26

A Second/Last Chance!

Hello WHS Students:  Attendance is important for your overall success, therefore, here is our attendance notice for

Quarter 3.  

If you did NOT qualify for quarter 2, this is your second/last chance to try! Please be aware, as the numbers have changed.

If you did qualify in quarter 2 - Great Job!, however, please know that overly excessive unexcused absences/tardies in quarter 3, may also cause you to also be excluded. If you are not sure if you qualified or not in quarter 2, send an email to Ms. Matanane and she can check your numbers.

If you fail to meet the requirements, you may be excluded from participating in events like the prom or the banquet.

• Please know that advisory is a class that is counted.   Seniors, if you are a TA, that class is counted.

• Again, it is your responsibility to turn in your notes to your Academy office within 3 days of returning to school. 

• We are NOT ACCEPTING  prom or banquet appeals! 

• Please do not say, "I didn't know." make it a point to check your IC or ask.

Here it is.  This notice will start next week Monday!

ATTENDANCE NOTICE  SY 25/26

This notice will begin on January 12, 2026 and will run until February 27, 2026. (This is just little over a month)

***Seniors pay close attention to the numbers, especially if you are on a modified schedule as your numbers are different.

If you have 4 Class Periods & Advisory-

No more than 9 unexcused periods of absence and 

unexcused tardies combined.

If you have 3 Class Periods & Advisory- 

No more than 7 unexcused periods of absence and 

unexcused tardies combined.

If you have 2 Class Periods & Advisory- 

No more than 5 unexcused periods of absence and 

unexcused tardies combined.

If you have 1 Class Period & Advisory-

No more than 2 unexcused periods of absence and 

unexcused tardies combined.

Again, it is your responsibility to submit  your excuse notes on time.
