Sexual Violence Prevention Program
This year the state has mandated schools to implement a Sexual Violence Prevention Program (SVP)for grades K-12. The curriculum is provided from the Sexual Abuse Treatment Center (SATC). A parent brochure was mailed out in October. The main goal is to bring awareness to students to better prepare them in case a situation arises. Today we recognized our students who met or exceeded proficiency on the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) last year. They broke barriers and raised the bar for the junior class achieving the highest scores we've ever gotten as a school.
