Kids Hurting Too Hawaii
Kids Hurt Too Hawaiʻi provides free support services to help keiki and ʻohana heal from loss, domestic violence, abuse, and neglect. Rooted in the values of aloha, mālama, and kuleana, our programs equip children, caregivers, and families with tools to navigate grief and separation, building resilience and hope. K i ka māna Wai’anae ALOū Gives Back
Lets work together and help our kamaliiʻ that is facing housing instability in Waiaʻnae and is in need of basic necessities. We are taking donations of gently used kids clothing, toilietires, backpacks, etc. Donations will be accepted at CC103 during advisory period till Feburary 4th.

School Resource Officer (SRO) pilot program
Dear Wai‘anae High School ‘ohana, We are writing to share a brief update on the that we previously communicated with families about earlier this school year. After additional planning and coordination between the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education and the Honolulu Police Department, we anticipate that the pilot will begin at Wai‘anae High next week. As a reminder, the purpose of this pilot is to strengthen safety and support on campus while building positive relationships

DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES SNAP and Financial Benefits Information On-site applications and on-line support. If available, bring photo ID, income verification, and shelter cost documents (rent, electric, water, etc.), or email them in advance to waianaepc@dhs.hawaii.gov . Case look-ups are available until 6:00 PM; after 6:00 PM, staff will assist with applications and questions
