The Philippine Celebrations Coordinating Committee of Hawai‘i, the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Center for Philippine Studies and Filipino Curriculum Project proudly invite the community to the Sakada Day Celebration 2025. This annual gathering honors the resilience, contributions, and cultural legacy of Hawai‘i’s Filipino Sakadas — migrant plantation workers whose hard work, courage, and spirit continue to shape the Filipino American experience today.
